Zeke Canusio - Argentina
Clear communication is a key to success in the business world. Many ESL speakers struggle to make themselves understood. LCI’s Accent Reduction Program focuses on eliminating language barriers and miscommunications that commonly occur when speaking English as a second language.
The LCI Accent Reduction Program enables executives to reduce their dialects by speaking with features of the General American dialect. The goal of accent reduction is not to eliminate an accent or disguise heritage, but to help the executive communicate clearly and effectively.
In our program, you will work with an LCI dialect coach to:
Discover why people have trouble understanding you;
Enable people to understand the first time you say something;
Learn to reproduce and speak with features of the General American dialect;
Learn to use a dictionary as an accurate pronunciation tool; and
Practice using multi-media, such as conference calls, voicemail and business meetings.
Clear understanding is imperative when dealing with internal and external communication. LCI will provide you with a no-obligation phonology assessment of your foreign born employees and present a program with proven results.
You can take classes for as long as you want, or until you feel you have achieved a clear American accent.
You can start any day, at any time of the year.

You have several options. You can stay with a host family, you can get your own apartment -which you can share with a roommate if you want-, or you can stay at a hotel.
Staying with a host family is perfect if you want to be interacting with the American community full-time.
You will be speaking English all day long and your conversational skills will improve really fast.
If you are looking for more independence, you can get your own apartment or stay at a hotel.
Either way, we can help you with your housing situation. If you decide to stay with a host family, we can find that family for you and make all the arrangements. If you prefer to get your own apartment, we can find one for you close to Westwood's campus. We can even assist you with finding a roommate. Many students like having roommates because that way they share the rent cost. And it is not only cheaper, but also a great way of making friends.
As far as prices, lodging will cost around $650-$800 per month, or less if you decide to have a roommate.
Price
1 student: $49/hour.
2-4 students: $59/hour.
5+ students: $69/hour.
All the prices are in US Dollars.
