General English Program – ESL Class
Overview
If your goal is to improve your conversational English in the shortest time possible to progress in your career and life, this is the right program for you. These ESL classes are ideal if you would like to combine learning English with exploring a new country and culture. LCI’s General English lessons focus on the four principles of Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
Our group classes are small groups of just 4-16 students per class. Prior to your classes starting you will go through an assessment process to place you in the appropriate level. LCI’s General English program has five levels from beginner to advanced. You may also choose to complement your group classes with additional private instruction focused on your individual needs.
A cultural component to assist you with your awareness and adaptation to life in the U.S.A. is part of all language programs at LCI.
Duration of the Program
You can take classes for as long as you want, or until you feel you have achieved the skills desired.
Start Dates
ESL Classes start every Monday. You can start at any time of the year.
Additional Optional Program- Explore and Learn
LCI’s Explore and Learn Program gives you the opportunity to get to know the Mile High City of Denver and practice your English at the same time. You will be accompanied by an LCI instructor to visit exciting points of interest in Denver. You will learn more about the American culture and one of the most popular cities in the U.S. while practicing your English in real life situations as you visit and explore Denver. There are a variety of places you may chose to visit through this program such as downtown Denver, the Colorado State Capitol building, sporting venues (Coors Field, Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center), shopping areas, museums, the Denver Zoo and many other fun places. This program is a fun and educational way to explore Denver and gain hands on experience practicing your English. The Explore and Learn Program may be added to the General English program for an additional fee of $54 an hour (minimum of 2 hours required) plus the cost of excursions. This program is available on weekdays and on the weekends.

Schedule: Classes are in the morning or in the afternoon. LCI reserves the right to place a student according to classroom availability. LCI will do its best to accommodate the student’s preference but the times requested are not guaranteed.
