English (ESL) Lessons and Programs

General English Program

These ESL lessons are ideal if you would like to combine learning English with exploring a new country and culture. LCI’s General English lessons focus on the four principles of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

Academic English

Academic ESL lessons focusing on preparation for undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs. The Academic English Program has six levels from beginner to advanced.

Executive English

This program is designed for professionals from around the globe who are interested in intensive English training. Our Executive English lessons are the ideal solution for those adult professionals who want to learn English quickly through an individualized program designed specifically for them.

GRE/GMAT Preparation Course

This is a program for students who want to prepare for the GRE or GMAT.

TOEFL Preparation Courses

For those students who want to prepare for the TOEFL.

IELTS Preparation Courses

This program will prepare you for the IELTS.

University Preparation Course

University Prep is designed for ESL speakers to help prepare them for admission and success at the university or graduate level of studies at an American university.  University Prep consists of five individual classes:  university-level writing, GRE preparation, TOEFL preparation, public speaking and presentations, and advanced grammar.

Legal English

This curriculum is designed for legal professionals who would like to improve their English and learn about the US legal system. LCI has legal professionals on our teaching staff with both ESL instructional experience and many years of experience practicing law in the United States. Their first hand knowledge of the American legal system will assist you in learning how to successfully navigate the US legal structure.

Executive English Golf Program

Are you interested in improving your English and practicing your golf game on world class golf courses? Then LCI's Executive English Golf Program is the right choice for you! Practice your English and your golf game at the same time in an informal setting and expand your network by meeting other members of our thriving business community on the area's top ranked golf courses.

Explore and Learn Program

LCI’s Explore and Learn Program gives you the opportunity to get to know the city you choose to study in and practice your English at the same time.  You will be accompanied by an LCI instructor to visit exciting points of interest.  You will learn more about American culture and some of the most popular cities in the U.S. while practicing your English in real life situations as you visit and explore your surroundings.This program is a fun and educational way to gain hands on experience practicing your English.

Accent Reduction

LCI’s Accent Reduction Program focuses on eliminating language barriers and miscommunications that commonly occur when speaking English as a second language.

Ski Program

Every winter, at our Denver, Colorado school, study English and ski the Rockies! LCI English Center offers 2, 3 and 4 week ski programs. Our program includes General English classes Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., plus one day a week of exciting day trips for world class skiing in the Rocky Mountains.

Webcam Classes

You can now study in the convenience of your home or office from anywhere in the world with LCI’s webcam classes.  Study privately one-on-one with an LCI instructor through a webcam. The course content can be customized to fit your needs and goals.

University Admissions Essay Coaching

A great university admissions essay is much more than correct grammar and the right punctuation. We work hand-in-hand with you to guide you through the admissions essay process.

English Instruction for Children

These customized programs are designed for children of parents who are not native English speakers. We provide tutoring services to assist with your child’s educational needs including homework, essay writing assistance and ACT and SAT preparation courses.
